Como Cordinadora de Comunicaciones, Itzel crea formas divertidas de conectar a OP con la comunidad. Ella es de Costa Rica, donde estudió Diseño Publicitario, y trabaja como freelance en el negocio del arte, algo que la ayudó a desarrollar su comunicación en el ámbito profesional. Como latina bilingüe (español/inglés), quiere ayudar a abrir las puertas de OP a más latinos y hacerlos sentir bienvenidos.

A Itzel le encantaría decirle a su yo de 13 años que ella es importante, que se merece todo lo que quiere, que es fuerte, que se ame a si misma y que sea leal consigo misma pase lo que pase, que ignore a todos los bullies, ella estará en un lugar mejor con personas y verdaderos amigos que la aman y que no tenga miedo de amar y abrazar a las personas que merecen su amor. 

As the Communications Coordinator, Itzel creates fun ways to connect OP with the community. She is from Costa Rica where she studied advertising & design, and works as a freelancer in the art business - something that helped her develop her professional communication. As a bilingual Latina (Spanish/English), she wants to help open OP’s doors to more Latine people and make feel them welcome. 

Itzel would love to tell her 13-year-old self that she matters, she deserves all she wants, she is strong, to love herself and be loyal to herself no matter what. Ignore all the bullies - she will be in a better place with people and real friends who love her and don't be afraid to love and hug the people who deserve her love.
