Get your child involved at OP
OP is a space for all girl-identified youth ages 10-18 no matter their backgrounds or their experiences. Whether it’s after-school drop-in to our space, therapy, or our activities, it’s important that girls and their caregivers feel confident that OP is a safe, appropriate, and positive space.
For girls to participate in our programming, we require girls and their parents/guardians to complete an in-person or Zoom-based orientation with staff. Meeting one-on-one allows us to get to know your child, discuss their interests and needs, answer any questions they might have, and explain our available services.
Having an orientation also helps each young person and staff create a sense of personal connection, emotional safety, respect, and confidentiality. And it allows parents to see our space, meet staff, and provide helpful information for supporting their girl.
