Nah, MS, Therapist
They/He
Listening to a client’s story allows Nah to provide therapy based on each youth’s unique context. They operate from a narrative and systemic lens to create a safe and judgment-free space for their clients. Nah believes that everyone inherently has the strengths to achieve their goals, and sometimes needs a little extra support. He prioritizes a strong therapeutic relationship with each client throughout the therapy process. Nah graduated with his MS in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon. They interned for the Center for Healthy Relationships where they provided therapy to couples, families and individuals (adults & children). Nah has volunteered with Courageous Kids, a non-profit that provides support to youth experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one. They also worked at Oregon Community Programs, working directly with foster youth and their families.
Nah is a Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Jessica Sarontay, LPC #C5736.
Nah’s advice to their 13-year-old self: Focus on what is within your control & try not to fixate on what is out of your control. The lens we choose to view our reality & the world through, whether positive or negative, can impact how we feel about ourselves, others & what’s possible. A little worry/anxiety can be helpful but remember that you can never get that time you spent worrying back.
