As the Social Media Manager, Itzel develops creative and engaging ways to connect Ophelia’s Place with the community. With a background in advertising and design, she has worked as a freelancer in the art industry—an experience that strengthened her skills in visual storytelling and communication.
In addition to her design expertise, she has hands-on experience in communications, crafting impactful messaging and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
As a bilingual Latina (Spanish/English), she is passionate about making OP’s social media accessible and welcoming to more Latinx people, ensuring everyone feels represented and included.

Itzel would love to tell her 13-year-old self that she matters, she deserves all she wants, she is strong, to love herself and be loyal to herself no matter what. Ignore all the bullies - she will be in a better place with people and real friends who love her and don't be afraid to love and hug the people who deserve her love.
