This workshop is designed for caregivers and other supportive adults looking to learn ways of supporting youth in strengthening their relationships with body and food and preventing disordered eating and negative body image. In this workshop, you will explore your own relationships with body and food and the messages you have received that have influenced these relationships as well as what messages you want to pass along to the youth in your life. You will also learn empirically-based and weight-neutral information about health, the fundamentals of Intuitive Eating, and ways of advocating for the youth in your life. This workshop is led by OP therapists and is informed by the Be Body PositiveTM curriculum – a program based in research and Health at Every Size.
