Tatiana is the Rural Youth Program Coordinator, providing services in Junction City. She is responsible for creating fun, educational, and safe activities for girls in the community. She is passionate about supporting girls in many facets of life.
Tatiana is so excited to be part of the After & Out of School team and to make a difference in the community.
Tatiana studied Recreation, Sport, and Tourism Management at University of St Francis in Illinois, and has worked with many populations ever since. Tatiana served a year in AmeriCorps NCCC where she traveled to different states volunteering in local communities. She was a canoe guide for underrepresented youth, people with disabilities and inner-city youth. She’s worked with students in recreation and school districts. Most recently, Tatiana worked with seniors in an assisted living and memory care community planning and providing meaningful activities for them!
Tatiana would tell her 13-year old self to make the most of the experience and to surround yourself with true friends who will support you through anything. Be yourself and the right people will be drawn to you!
