As the Operations Director, Anna supports the Ophelia’s Place team to ensure the staff and interns have the tools they need to continue supporting youth in the community. Anna also ensures that our internal administrative functions are efficient and effective.  

Growing up in Southern Oregon, Anna saw the need for organizations such as Ophelia’s Place early on. Navigating adolescence is challenging, and Anna turned to after school programs and activities to find a safe, nourishing environment to explore her voice and begin to discover who she was. After graduating from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s in Zoology, Anna focused on nonprofit support, particularly within the animal welfare space. Anna is excited to bring her administrative skillset and energetic spirit to Ophelia’s Place.

Anna would tell her 13-year-old self to not let anyone dull your sparkle. There is beauty and freedom in embracing who you are.
