Ana Murphy Babauta is the Corporate Relations Director for Ophelia’s Place. She develops and maintains strong relations with corporate communities, ensures giving opportunities are explored, creates awareness in all OP communities and works with the OP Community Engagement Team to support events and programming. She is dedicated to supporting the financial health and ability of Ophelia’s Place to provide a positive, inclusive environment for girls with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.

 Ana believes in being kind, loving and genuine. In her role as Corporate Relations Director, she sees a chance to build genuine relationships with people in our community so that we can all work together to further the purpose of OP.

 Ana was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam, USA and moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2019. She has extensive experience in sales and marketing with a diverse career path that has taken her to many places.

 Inafa' maolek, which is pronounced e-na-fah mao-lek in Ana's CHamoru culture, is the notion of restoring harmony or order. The literal translation is ‘to make’ (inafa’) ‘good’ (maolek) and Ana puts this into effect in every sphere of her life, including her work at OP.

 I would tell my 13-year-old self that a lot of the things that are happening in your life are not your fault. That you have a long future ahead of you and not to get caught up with your current day-to-day struggles. Be loving and kind but also be selective in who you surround yourself with.
