At OP, we do a lot of things, but at the center of it all, is one goal: to build a better, safer, and more equitable community for girls and youth to grow up and thrive in.
Our robust, community-centered, and strength-based offering focused on building youth and community allies includes:
Safe, welcoming, and nurturing girl-only spaces at our physical locations in Eugene, Junction City, and Albany. Here girls can enjoy:
A variety of afterschool programming and activities
Access to supportive adults who can provide the resources they seek to face everyday challenges with confidence and optimism
Fun workshops on everything from baking to coding
Help with homework
Games
Open and honest peer-to-peer conversations
And more
Strength-based individual and group therapy available for all girl-identified youth as well as trans boys, and their families
Girl Empowerment Groups including BIPOC and Queer spaces
Guidance on a wide range of topics for parents, teachers, and peers delivered through in-person classes, at our physical locations and in schools (school presentations serve all genders)
Robust and research-based professional development and anti-oppression training for youth-serving leaders and organizations
Training for the next generation of service providers through our direct-service internships
Plus, we always meet girls and families exactly where they are, when and how they need it—virtually or in person, at our physical locations, out in the community, and even in rural areas.
