Esta maravillosa tradición celebra la vida, promoviendo valores como el amor, la esperanza y la importancia de la familia para mantener vivos a los seres queridos que ya no están con nosotros. Durante esta actividad tendrás la oportunidad de pintar tu propio altar, conocer nuestra herencia cultural y vivir la aventura de un artesano poniendo colores, emociones y significado a tu pieza. No se requiere experiencia. Tendrás la guía de Daniel y Erika Arévalo durante esta actividad.
Join us in decorating and painting your own clay altar, combining fun, imagination, and culture! This wonderful tradition celebrates life, promoting values such as love, hope and the importance of family keeping loved ones alive who are no longer with us. During this activity you will have the opportunity to paint your own altar with acrylic, learn about our cultural heritage and live the adventure of an artisan adding colors, emotions and meaning to your piece. No experience is required. You will have the guidance of Daniel and Erika Arévalo during this activity.

OP recognizes an expansive definition of girl. OP is for all trans girls and cis girls, as well as for nonbinary youth, gender nonconforming youth, and genderqueer youth, who feel or have a connection to girlhood or girlness. Welcome to your space!
