Dawn, Administrative Director

Dawn is responsible for supporting the Ophelia’s Place staff with many human resource tasks such as onboarding, staff and intern reimbursements, employee benefits and payroll support. She also oversees the office coordination for OP’s spaces. Dawn graduated from Southern Oregon University (SOC at the time) with a teaching degree in Physical Education and Health.

Much of Dawn’s career has been spent in both child/youth-centered organizations and in administration. She had a brief stint working for Kitty Piercy, the former mayor of Eugene. Dawn also worked at Ophelia’s Place in 2015/16 as Office and Facilities Manager.

Dawn would tell her 13-year-old self to slow down and enjoy each stage of life. Although being a teenager is difficult, it’s a unique special experience.
