Hannah, Albany Youth Program Coordinator

She/Her

Hannah works with the Albany community to provide after-school drop-in, activities, and workshops for girl-identified youth. She is passionate about ensuring that the drop-in space and activities that take place in it are created and led by girls. She grew up in Albany and is very excited to be a part of OP services in her hometown.

Hannah graduated from Oregon State University in 2022 with her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, as well as minors in Education and Human Development & Family Sciences. Before joining Ophelia’s Place, she worked in several youth programs, including a garden education program, as an ASPIRE mentor, and as a classroom assistant for Greater Albany Public Schools, and there found her passion for working with youth. Her favorite part about working with youth is their sense of humor and creativity. She loves seeing their artwork and hearing what they are passionate about.

Hannah’s advice to her 13-year-old self: “Be gentle with yourself, and slow down. Cherish your friendships and take a breath once in a while - it will all work out.”

She can be reached at 541-636-9660 ext 161.
