Millie, Eugene Office & Services Coordinator

She/Her

Millie is responsible for maintaining a welcoming and safe space for everyone here at Ophelia’s Place. She helps the staff manage office tasks and communications, regarding youth programming and service registrations. She is also the first face you will see when coming into our Eugene site! After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2022 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, she spent her first year out of school as an intern at OP. During this time, she facilitated the OP After School Drop-In Center where we use a trauma informed approach to interact with and empower our youth. She also co-facilitated empowerment groups for middle school-aged girls in Lane County, in which they provide education and support around the challenges and unique qualities that come with being an individual who identifies with some aspect of girlhood. After her internship ended, she couldn’t say goodbye to OP just yet, and accepted her staff position in 2023. What is most important to Millie about her work at Ophelia’s Place is that she can be a safe, dependable, and non-judgmental adult for youth that don’t have that at home.

Millie would tell her 13-year-old self: ‘You don’t have to make yourself smaller to make others around you more comfortable. You shine so bright that no one can dull your sparkle. Be weird, be loud, be YOU.’

She can be reached at (541) 284-4333 ext 106.
