Jennifer, Development Director

She/Her

Collaboration and partnership are at the core of Jennifer’s work as OP’s Development Director. Jennifer has been in development since 2007 when she saw the suffering of those who couldn’t afford medical bills, sending her into nonprofit support at Volunteers In Medicine. She continued her development efforts at organizations like Food for Lane County and Cascades Raptor Center. Being a parent of two girls who have used OP services and being passionate about social justice, equity, and making a world a better place, joining the Ophelia’s Place team was a great next fit.

She would tell her 13-year old self that you are worthy and as important as those you put on a pedestal due to social status, that popularity doesn’t equal happiness, and that everyone has value and to see her own value and her own contributions to this world.
