Monday-Thursday, 3-6 pm
Girls aged 10-18
After school drop-in is a positive, relaxing environment where young women can hang out, eat a nutritious snack, do homework, engage in craft activities, and spend time with friends. All girls are welcome in our safe and supportive space. No registration required.

Safe Routes to Schools: Bike Safety
Saturday, Oct. 5
11 am-2 pm
Get on your bikes and ride! Instructors from City of Eugene River House will lead a workshop to teach the rules of the road and how to be visible, legal, and predictable so that you can ride safely and confidently. Bicycles and helmets will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own bikes. Please note: you must already know how to ride a bike to participate in this workshop. Registration required by Sept 26.

Tuula the Ambassadog

Tuula the Greenhill Humane Society Ambassadog will be visiting us with her human, Megan Brezovar, to talk about how to treat animals with kindness and to collect LOTS of snuggles! No registration required.

Family Event: OP Halloween Party!
Thursday, Oct. 31
4-6 pm
Family and friends are all welcome to come play some Halloween games, get your face painted, and enjoy some spooky snacks before you make your trick-or-treating rounds! Come in costume! All welcome! No registration required.

Autumn Adventure Hike
Monday, Nov. 11
10 am-3 pm
Suggested Fee $10
The Northwest Youth Corps will be taking us on an outdoor adventure, location TBD. Everyone will get a Hydroflask to take home! Bring a lunch and dress for the weather. Registration required by Nov. 1.

There are all kinds of stories about brave, adventurous girls, and Daisy Hagen, founder of the Literary Alliance, is going to share one of her favorites: Matilda! All participants will get a copy of the book Matilda to take home. Registration required by Nov 8.

Self-Defense Workshop

Suggested Fee $5
Find the power and confidence already within you! This workshop will teach us how to recognize and leave unsafe situations, as well as basic self-defense techniques. This no-school day event will take place at JC Fit Studio. Registration required by Nov 22.

Moments of Mindfulness
Wednesday Dec. 11
3-4 pm
Make your own self-care kit! We’ll put together custom kits with slime and other fun sensory items, as well as explore techniques that can help us take a moment of mindfulness whenever and wherever we need to. No registration required.
