The first ever Parent-Daughter Girl Con was a wonderful success. More than 130 girls and parents explored the world of comics, art, tech, and science. It began when the Junction City Soroptimists reached out to Ophelia’s Place and asked us to bring our services to their community. After two years of raising donations and earning grants, the new location became a reality. On Feb. 24, 2018, the Junction City Open House drew in more than 100 girls, families, community members, community leaders, Soroptimists and staff to celebrate the new location.
